  • The Christmas Doll

    Elvira Woodruff, Bernadette Dunne

Preloaded Digital Audio Player (Blackstone Pub, Dec. 1, 2009)
Two young orphans, Lucy Wolcott and her little sister Glory, have no one in the world but each other. Every day, they labor from dawn to dusk in the bleak, cold shelter of a public workhouse in old London Town where there is little to eat and the nights are cold and damp. The only light in their lives comes from the stories that Lucy invents, stories about a family she barely remembers and a doll named Morning Glory, who, Lucy promises, is destined to return to them some day. Then one day, Lucy finds an old, discarded doll, which Glory is certain is the long-lost Morning Glory. Morning Glory is no ordinary doll, however, and how she leads the girls to the most surprising turns of fortune makes for a heartwarming story that brims with love, hope, and the truest spirit of Christmas.

  • A Donkey Christmas

    Ken Shores

Paperback (Toplink Publishing, LLC, Dec. 22, 2017)
A children's Christmas Story as told by a donkey that carried Mary to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus. The story begins when Joseph was told to take another donkey instead of Durance. This name was assigned this donkey, because of being friendly. Durance was selected by Joseph anyhow. During their seven day journey to Bethlehem at a rest stop, the donkey spots a big snake and kicked it away. Mary asked what happened. Joseph replied, "Durance just saved us from what was probably the Devil as a snake. Durance kicked the snake so hard it will never return." Mary replied, "Durance is a Godly donkey and now I know we are safe with him being with us."
